TWD: Hazelnut (Walnut) Biscotti


We didn't have hazelnuts, so we used walnuts instead. Kyle was sweet and spearheaded this project. Overall, they were all right. I think they would have been better if we added chocolate or had something to dip them in. At least they were really easy!

  1. I thought a nice chocolate coating would have been nice on these. They definitely need to be dipped in something (my girl says hot chocolate works).

  4. I subbed cinnamon and pecans in mine... but wish I would've dipped them in a chocolate glaze! Great idea. :)

  5. I haven't made mine yet! I am kind of expecting not to love them so I am not super excited about it. The chocolate idea seems like it would help. I bet Nutella is great on them but I will eat Nutella on everything.

  10. These look great!! I'm late on this post (making mine tomorrow) and man getting the skins off the hazelnuts is a pain in the butt, should have sub'ed them for another nut...I think thought the idea of dipping them in chocolate is genius...think I'll do that!
